DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Friday, May 11th at the Elephant Park, f
 rom 4:30pm-6:30pm opposite Morton Williams for this fun filled event a
 imed to help raise funds for Project Bolo Behen - Project Bolo Behen p
 rovides an array of supportive services to South Asian women living in
  Hudson County who are experiencing sexual and domestic violence. Our 
 mission is to create a safe space with a full range of culturally-sens
 itive, language-specific information, support services and advocacy fo
 r South Asian Women (many of them are mothers). Art's event - Kids age
 s 3 and above can make cards for their moms – First 40 completed ent
 ries will be posted on the notice board next to Duane Reade as a mark 
 of recognition by Lefrak's Newport Management office and a certificate
  of recognition will be provided to everyone who participates (from Ne
 wport Mommy and Manavi).  There is no competition.  We will provide 
 the paper but feel free to get any other art material ( color pencils,
  crayons, paints, stickers etc.) for your tot. Dads are welcome to hel
 p the kid complete the art work. Juice boxes will be provided to all t
 he kids who participate (compliments Project Bolo Behen)Entry fee for 
 above: $5 (100% proceeds will go to Project Bolo Behen) – Feel free 
 to donate more Project Bolo Behen volunteers will be giving away free 
 handprint keepsakes for kids under the age of 2 – (NewportMommy sugg
 ests donation $2 ) Come by to have fun, meet other moms and support a

 riday) What is Project Bolo Behen Project Bolo Behen is a joint partn
 ership of Christ Hospital and Manavi, a New Jersey based organization 
 working to end violence against South Asian women since 1985. Project 
 Bolo Behen provides an array of supportive services to South Asian wom
 en living in Hudson County who are experiencing sexual and domestic vi
 olence. Our mission is to create a safe space with a full range of cul
 turally-sensitive, language-specific information, support services and
  advocacy for South Asian Women. Since its inception in January 2011 i
 n Hudson County the Project had served over 30 women and their childre
 n. The Project has put in over 600 hours working directly with women t
 o provide them with opportunities to restore their broken lives and em
