Join us for our next Planetarium Online live stream: Astrology & Astronomy!
On August 13 at 1 PM, head to Liberty Science Center’s Facebook page and join our LIVE presenter for a look at the relationship between astrology and astronomy. What does it mean that you’re a “Gemini” or a “Leo,” and what do we mean when we say things like “Mercury is in retrograde”? Discover how astrology helps us figure out the precise location of planets, which helped drive astronomy and cosmology.
Feel free to ask questions – we’re happy to answer!
Liberty Science Center is home to the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium, the biggest planetarium in America. Video for this presentation was created on an Evans & Sutherland Digistar 6 system.
