Event Description

SchoolPlus Hudson is very excited to announce our 2nd Open Chess Tournament for Children which will be taking place on Saturday, November 9th!

Players of all levels are invited to join!  The tournament will take place from 11 am to 2 pm (please arrive between 10:30 and 10:45 am to sign in).  Students will play in two groups, Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced.   

Pizza and prizes for everyone! Top three players in each group will receive trophies.
Registration is REQUIRED!  Please register on our website, http://www.school-plus.com/hudson
When:  Saturday, November 9th, 11am - 2pm
Where: Boys and Girls Club, 1 Canal St Jersey City (at the intersection of Grand and Grove Streets); Free parking is available (first come, first serve basis)
Fee: $15 per child ($10 for students currently enrolled in Chess classes offered by SchoolPlus Hudson)

Please note: While parents are not allowed into the room where the tournament will be taking place, there is a waiting area available with tables and chairs.
