We are offering 2 courses: Kodu Game Design and Modding in Minecraft

Kodu is a visual programming language for 1st-5th graders. Since it is 3D (Scratch is 2D), it offers an engaging interface and is very visually appealing for those new to coding. For kids with coding experience, the ability to quickly create powerful games using coding principles allows them to quickly see the output of their efforts and create more complex programs. 

Modding in Minecraft is hugely popular for 4th-8th graders. Kids modify the  code in the popular video game, Minecraft, to create their own elements within the game. This allows them to learn the fundamentals of Java programming while having a blast. We don't do "copy and paste" coding so this is real learning and real fun.
