Event Description
Learn about the role that fruits and vegetables play in a child’s diet as they transition to solids. Learn creative and delicious ways to make and mix a variety of plant-based foods for your child. Understand the role of organic versus
conventionally farmed produce as well as the financial benefits of making your own food. Empower parents to start their health journey today through planning, shopping, cooking and freezing food for baby! Food samples will be provided to parents to try upon completing the demonstration. Handouts on recipes will also be provided to each participant.
