Event Description
Be there for LSC’s new monthly series, “Friday Nights @ LSC,” when the Science Center stays open late from 6:00 – 10:00 pm. During this time, the building will be packed with astronomy adventures that you won’t get during the daytime, including stargazing, themed activities, special presentations, out-of-this-world discounts, and more.

Highlights on June 28 include:
~Exhilarating planetarium shows throughout the night
~Delicious snacks
~Otherworldly cocktails for guests 21 and over
~A fantastic view of Jupiter and its moons, via our telescopes
~A lecture led by Dr. Nikole Lewis from Cornell University’s Carl Sagan Institute – whose research includes studying exoplanets through instruments such as the Hubble and Spitzer space telescopes – at 8:00 pm. (This lecture is FREE! But due to space, please pick up tickets at the Box Office upon arrival)
~An Out of This World Laser Show at 6:30 pm, featuring new and classic astronomical songs
~A Led Zeppelin Laser Show at 10:00 pm
~Access to all the exhibitions in the Science Center
All ages are welcome. Don't miss the chance to explore the galaxy at night with your family, friends, or group!
