LOGIC Based Preschool Class -- Weekday and Weekend

This class is designed for 3 up to 5 years old to learn academic concepts such as beginning reading, writing, and mathematics through the thinking process ( Logic) of the concept and assisted by meaningful hands-on projects and interactive approach. The curricula is carefully crafted with two pedagogical ideas in mind:  firstly, very young learners are inquisitive by nature, hence the project and interaction ought to develop the thinking process that will enrich and make meanings of their inquiry; secondly, very young learners need to build the emotional as well as the cognitive development, hence we keep the class in small size to make sure that every learner experiences the full attention that he or she deserves. 

Parts of Curricula:

LOGIC Skills: To build and strengthened the ability to think step by step through introducing: ( the one element that G&T test is concerned of)

Patterns--- is one of the fundamental bricks of building a    thinking process in a child.

Analogy-- is a fundamental brick of identifying what kind of relationship two events or two elements relate with each other: similar, different, opposites, etc. 

Fine Motor Skill and Eye Movement Skill: the main goal is to establish the discipline of focus and self-control by balancing two or more different senses that would be put to use to achieve a certain task.

My name is Chandra Budi, Ph.D, and I am the sole educator and the owner of Unconventional and Resourceful Learning, LLC. The tutoring and  the learning experience in my class comes from the student; the educational theories and pedagogical approach are catered to suit the student. That is why we are Unconventional. The learning experience is also meant to be resourceful for both parents and the families; I am dedicated to sit with the parents, to find best resources for parents, with an intention to empower and not evaluate-- to use the strengths to overcome the weaknesses. I believe it is meaningful to empower, to give each student the tools he/she needs to achieve the success not just for the grade they are in, but for LIFE. This is why we are Resourceful.

My message to you as parents: Let’s work together to unshed those limited views of who your child is; let’s work together to bring your child to understand that learning is empowering, to further and achieve a CHILD, not merely about grades or prizes.
