Academic Subjects Offered:

Logic To Reading treats Reading as active and dynamic, rather than static and stagnant. Logic To Reading sees reading is not merely about words; rather, it is more importantly about THOUGHTS.

The basic knowledge of alphabets ( both lower case and upper case) is a MUST; the ability to read some of the basic sight words are PREFERABLE for a student to enroll in the Primary Level Logic To Reading. We will challenge the thinking of reading and writing through word search, word puzzle, understanding the meaning of poems and children’s nursery rhymes, reading particular chapters of books such as Harold and The Purple Crayon, A Bad Case of Stripes, The Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore, I Knew You Could, Symphony City.

As for the Intermediate Logic To Reading, we will open our nuance to different books by reading, conversing, and writing about particular chapters of books such as  Who Was Albert Einstein, Little Women, Huckleberry Finn,  Little Prince, Wonder, Understanding Quotes by prominent authors. The goal for our Intermediate Logic To Reading is to read beyond text, to explore our own minds through our interpretations of the author’s thoughts. Basic fluency in writing and understanding of paragraph, basic punctuation, and capitalization are MUST for a student to enroll for Intermediate Logic To Reading.

Mathematics&Logic

Mathematics  should be fun. Logic makes mathematics a part of our daily living, which makes mathematics real and fun.

The basic knowledge of number sense, additions and subtractions, and patterns are MUST for students to enroll in the Primary Level of Mathematics&Logic. We will learn mathematical concepts in word problems, in understanding the relationship between mathematical equations and words used to describe the mathematical equations ( for example, in total of should be an addition= it is a reading comprehension in mathematical sense), doing simple projects to understand mathematical concepts ( for example, to open a lemonade stand will be a great way to learn about money).

As for the Intermediate Mathematics&Logic, the students ought to know the basic concept of multiplication and division, fractions. We bring word problems to a slightly more complex, yet fun reality. For example, how does the interest in the banking system functioning? What does the concept of saving some money mean? How does knowing fractions and percentages help in understanding profit, cost, expenses? How does understanding the conversion either in money or in measurement standards could help an individual to make the right decision in traveling outside the country or in remodeling a kitchen?
