PT Academic Summer Camp

URL Tutoring and Consulting, LLC

Providing 2 hours academic summer camp for students ages 4.5 through 9 years old.

The sessions are divided into Primary and Intermediate Level with two different kind of sessions: Logic to Reading and Math & Logic.

Tuesdays and Thursdays,

9:30-11:30am --Primary Level

 1:00-3:00pm-- Intermediate Level

Wednesdays and Fridays,

10:00-12:00pm --Primary Level

 12:30-2:30pm-- Intermediate Level

Starting date: June 30th

 Ending date: September 4th, 2015

No Classes on July 3rd until July 8th 2015 and August 27th and 28th, 2015

Weekly enrollment is welcome with RSVP 

The size of each session is limited to 8 students only.

What is URL?

URL stands for Unconventional and Resourceful Learning. It comes from my belief, as a Founder, that every learning ought to be catered to the individual needs of a students hence it could not be conventional; and for any learning to be at its best utility, empowering parents and students with appropriate resources and genuine conversations is important.

I offer a different aura of an educational enrichment program as I am building a community of learners and creating an impeccable quality of service and professionalism. 

Three major theories as my pedagogical guidance: 

*.Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum--especially by Erik Erickson ( Developmental Stage Theory), Jean Piaget ( one of the pioneers in Constructivism-- learning is constructive and active, not passive and instructive), and Lev Vygotsky ( famous for ZPD-Zone Proximal Development- a student learns according to his/her developmental readiness)

*. Multiple Intelligence by Howard Gardner.  I embrace different learning styles; I do not believe in labeling

*. The Hundred Languages of Children by Loris Malaguzzi. I embrace creativity and imagination as fuels in learning.
