I'd like to invite you as my guest to an event I'll be presenting about a project we helped fund in Uttarakhand, India through AID-NYC. It would be a great excuse to see you and for you to learn about a very cool initiative to help grassroots development projects in India from your seats in NYC. Dear AID Supporter,

 

We appreciate your interest in the Association for India’s Development (AID) as well as your continued support to the AID New York City (AID NYC) chapter. We would like to invite you to the AID NYC Annual General Body Meeting, which is a Donor Meet and Greet event, to be held on Friday,October 18,  2013, at 6 pm. AID is a volunteer, non-profit organization that is committed to the just, equitable and sustainable development in India. AID works closely with various grassroots level non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in India. Here in US, AID raises funds to support sustainable projects in various spheres including education, health, women’s empowerment, agriculture, environment, justice, and human rights.

 

We would like to share our activities in the past year and showcase some of the projects that AID NYC is supporting thanks to your generous support. You will also get to meet our volunteers, donors, and other supporters during this event. The event will also feature a talk by Somnath Mukherjee, Development Coordinator, AID, who will share his experiences and ground reports from his travels in India, and provide an overall AID-wide perspective.

 

Developmental issues in India are deeply intertwined with those in almost three-quarters of the planet today. You will be able to meet like-minded people, who share similar interest and passion in sustainable solutions to such challenges. We hope that you will join us with your friends, family, and colleagues, invite others, and connect with AID NYC --- your channel to sustainable development in India.
