Beloved or empowerment

Hi does anyone send their child to beloved or empowerment Academy charter schools on 509 grand st in jersey city? I am impressed with both based on tours and open houses but not so sure about the area and don't know anyone who is sending their kids there. Would love to hear from someone who does!

My son goes to beloved charter school,the school is very good.
It's been only ten days for him but I have seen good changes in him.
