Hi Mommies

I am a 6 days old Mommy. I have a question regarding the Birth Certificate of the baby specifically to Jersey City area :-

Can you please share your experience regarding the time taken for the baby's birth certificate in Jersey City (Hudson County). I believe the local county does not provide the birth certificate and it needs to be ordered from Trenton.

Can someone tell me how long it took for the birth certificate to come? It seems it will take 6 weeks for the registration so even if I opt to go to Trenton personally, I cannot get it before 6 weeks. Mail option would probably take 8-10 weeks! Does anyone have a quicker experience or the above timelines seem right?

TIA!

Hi I got my baby's Birth certificate from Hoboken health department. Maybe you can check up with them. I collected the certificate in person from them. you have to call and ask them if certificate is ready to collect.
