Jersey City Public School’s Dual Language Program, is a program that integrates native English speaking students with native Spanish speaking students for instruction in both languages. The goals of the program are to provide an educational environment and instruction that will enable students to become bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural by increasing student achievement, developing fluency in communication and literacy in both English and Spanish, and fostering an appreciation and understanding of other cultures.
