Meet a Neuropsychologist and get answers to parenting dilemmas - THIS Wednesday

Meet Dr. Preetika at our Wellness Meet event on Wednesday, May 10th at 5:00 p.m. (DETAILS here). RSVP TO ATTEND THIS SESSION - events@newportmommy.com

Parenting Essentials for a Happy and Healthy Family
1) Attachment: We all have heard millions of times how important parent-child bonding is!
But do we know how it emerges? What is your role in it? How do you enhance it?
2) Respect: Respect regarding children is often a one-sided topic. We expect them to show
it to adults. The idea of showing respect to children is usually tied to permissiveness or
being too “soft,” but is that so?
3) Proactive Parenting : Parents often wait until a problem arises before teaching the
boundaries and skills needed to deal with behavioral issues, but how can you be Proactive
before the problem arises and what you need to do?
4) Effective Disciplining Strategies: It does not have to be a time out! Ask her about what you can do!
5) Role of Technology: We need to understand how technology can influences child
development and how to encourage the positive aspect of technology.
