Thanks it was helpful for better understanding. .

This is useful information. Thanks for taking the time to conduct the survey and summarize the results in a helpful manner - much appreciated!!

Thanks for this. Very helpful especially for new parents.
Does the weekly rate includes transportation cost or is it separate?
What is the trend of paying nanny when the family takes a vacation say to go to India?
Also is there any stats on nannies accepting check vs. cash payment.
I feel like all of us mommies need to unite and only pay via check. This will help all of us in getting valid documented nannies and tax deductions.

Thanks all.. Unfortunately, we had limitation on questions we could ask so I don have data on cash/check payment but know from common knowledge that most Indian/Nepali/Tibetian nannies get paid by cash. Most Tibetans have valid work permit for sure

Hi,

I am looking for a baby sitter and just saw this survey. Can anyone let me know if the weekly rate includes transportation or is it separate? Also if the nanny gets paid when the family takes vacation.

Thank you.

Thanks for the survey - very helpful. One key question, however: N=? How many respondents to the survey?

Off the top of  my head - approx. 70 in FT employers.. and approx 40 in part time

Hi ,

Thanks for this input. I am curious the weekly rate for nannies are based on how many hours a day?

Typically 8pm to 6pm

Thanks

Very helpful!
