Path Forward is a non-profit that works with companies to create mid-career paid internship programs for stay at home moms and caretakers who are looking to get back to work. They just launched a program in the New York Metro Area with AppNexus in New York and Verisk Analytics in Jersey City. They're offering paid 16-week return to work internships specifically for people who have taken a break from their careers for caregiving. They are accepting applications now for end of February start dates. This is a great opportunity for moms and caregivers in the New York Metro Area who are finding it difficult to return to work due to the gap in their resume. Each company does its own interviewing and hiring and Path Forward works with the managers and HR to train on best interviewing and managing practices, and conducts career development workshops for all hired participants. You can see all the available jobs here and apply directly through the links on the page.
