Main Theme of The Day: COLOR AND RELATIONSHIPS

COLOR= identifying what the color of each animal is on the book

RELATIONSHIPS = identifying the connection between a certain color with a certain animal on the book

PRESCH Book Club

Main Theme of The Day: RELATIONSHIPS, PATTERNS, MEMORY

RELATIONSHIPS = relating the object (in this case, animal) with the identifier (in this case, color)

PATTERNS = understanding the order of which a relationships occurs-- it is like creating your own book

MEMORY = to understand and recognize the patterns, a child needs to remember the order of the objects in the book. This activity is also a good exercise for enhancing reading comprehension
