Beware of vasanti nanny, she is not true to her word, i highly doubt her commitment .. She will definately leave your job for more salary else where..
I called her for an interview and agreed to all her demands, and finalized her based on good reference, called her twice to confirm and everytime she said yes and moreover she called to confirm that she will start in few days for 2 hours for few days .. and this morning she called and said "I cannot join your work because of salary" and hanged up the call.

She tends to be very sweet talker. If she was a genuine person, she should have asked me for more salary as I was completely relying on her to start a nanny job and very well willing to work out on her salary based on her good reference, but clearly she did not stand true to her commitment.

I definitely dnt recommend her, it's hard to trust a nanny like this for your baby.

Again, 

I would be careful about slander on the internet...How many times have your decided to move your career for higher salary?? Does that mean you are not able to do  your job accurately?

Lastly I did speak to her, she said she called you to let you know that she is not able to accept your offer, as it was less than she was getting paid by her previous employer (me) Also it is not like she left you high and dry the day she was suppose to start work?

Please be very careful about ruining someone's reputation online--- remember she worked with me for 6 years and I have not had this issue. It may be a mis-communication on her part, but no way does that equate into a lack of being genuine....

Look just like you I have an opinion and it is fair for me to voice on this common forum. All i am doing is letting everyone know of the experience I have had with vasanti ben. My comment is not on how she may have worked with you in the past it is factual reporting of how she behaved with me.
1. I met all her terms n conditions. Salary hrs vacation days, commute, etc
2. I was ready to work with u for sharing her hrs with you until u move out and she is ready to take care of my baby full time

Even then, she informs me a week before she is suppose to start, that this arrangement won't work for her. I think members of this forum should know that she is someone who turned my offer down at the last minute leaving me scrambling to find her replacement. I am sure as a working mom u would appreciate that I am letting everyone know to be careful of depending upon vasanti. As per my experience she is unreliable. If u know all the facts then u won't dispute. I am just letting Moms be aware.

Fair thing would have been for her to have let me know her issues and allowed me to work with her to find a common ground.
