My name is Ananya, and I am a middle school student - Thought I would share some of the websites and apps my mom used for me and now my baby brother (credit goes to her too for saving this information for me).
Hope you and your child could enjoy and benefit from these too.

0-2 years

 

Bubbles (app) – Great for roadtrips

  • Age 1+
  • Good distraction for babies – but costs a dollar to download

 

Baby First (website)

Toddler Flashcards (app)

  • Age 1+
  • Simple pictures and sound effects teach children different words in multiple languages.

Alphabet Zoo (app)

  • Age 1 +
  • The baby can click on the letter, hear its name, the sound it makes, and see an animal that starts with that letter. You can also do a vehicle-version, instead of animals. 

I Hear Ewe (app)

  • Age 1 +
  • Animal names and sounds

Talking Ben (app) – Great for roadtrips

  • Age 1 +
  • Like Talking Tom – the cat , the dog inn this app can also interact with the kid, read a book etc.

  • Simple and safe, this is a great first site for preschoolers.

  • Very useful app helps kids tell time independently.

 Memory Train (app)

  • Age 5+
  • Engaging, fast-paced memory game is aimed at young children, but older kids will find the app interesting too.

Reading Website: Reading Eggs (Reading Eggs)

  • Reading website for children 3-8 yrs old
  • Early parts are good for preschoolers who are just beginning to read
