I would like to bring this to the attention of fellow moms to please beware of nanny named Manjula Ben Arvind Bhai Patel.

Please DO NOT hire her as she is completely unreliable and not trustworthy at all. She comes to give interview with her husband Arvind Bhai Patel and agrees to everything you mention in the interview. Her husband does most of the talking in the interview.

At my place she worked for 2 weeks and then on the second Sunday her husband calls me in afternoon that she will not be coming from Monday as she has a surgery in Christ hospital on Monday. I ask him how come you did not know this prior to starting the job just 2 weeks ago. This too when I had repeatedly asked her that is she ok with the job and should I go ahead and say no to the other nannies who interviewed at my place for the job. She repeatedly kept telling me that she is ok to continue and I should say no to the other candidates. She also lied in the interview about having experience of taking care of less than 1 year old. After hiring her, I found out that she did not have infant experience.

I am sharing her and her husband's contact numbers ( 201-912-1258/201-912-1257)  so you can have it for reference.

I know how difficult it is for working moms like me to leave their infants in the hands of the nanny and hence I feel it is my social responsibility to share my bad experience with this Manjula Ben Arvind Bhai Patel nanny so other kids and mommies don't have to go through what we have been through in past few days.

Today I saw this lady in Newport area happily roaming around clearly proving that she lied about her surgery. I wonder how these people an do things like this!
Thanks for sharing your experience. Her husband just called me randomly and because of your post I was aware of the situation. Mommies need to stick together and communicate more to form our own little Union as the nannies have done so. Just as an fyi...he is calling from a different number, but still using the same name.
Thanks MP for sharing this. Yes I completely agree with your point of forming a mommy union. Feel like Indian nannies in our area are taking undue advantage of our need . Glad my post helped you.
Thanks for sharing!!
