Review on Bhavna who does postpartum massage- please read before hiring her

Dear Friends,

I wanted to share my experience with the lady Bhavna who does postpartum massage. Her phone number is 201 736 0686. She was unprofessional to just quit on me without any notice. She started to do massage for me about 6 weeks ago. I would not call her work great but it was not bad. You would certainly expect a better experience from someone who charges $25 for a half hour massage. She would always cut short by 5 to 7 mins so she has time to get ready and go to the next client. So every time I had to constantly remind her that the time is not up yet.

She stopped coming since the start of this week. She usually lets me know the day before on what time she would come the next day. This week I had to text her asking when she would come and I just got a one word reply "No". After I called and asked, She gave me different reasons for the first couple of days and today again I got the same one word response. When I asked her why she said, she does not have any other client in my neighborhood anymore and hence does not want to come just to do a massage for me.

I find this very unprofessional. She did not let me know that she does not want to continue until I asked and when I said this is unprofessional, she replied " well I am letting you know now. I get several clients through Newport mommy and indicated that losing my business is not a big deal".

Just sharing my experience so people are aware if you are looking to hire her.

Please go for Daksha aunty 5556550621 she did the post party's massage for me and she is not only good at giving the massage, she never hurries up either. If the baby cries during the massage she will wait for you to feed the baby too. I had a wonderful experience with her.

Sorry to hear your experience.
I had good experience with Bhavna. She did my postpartum massage too. She did not have other business in my area. So it made sense to go for 1 hour massage so that she gets enough for her effort to come in my area. I used to be ready with everything before she came so i never faced short massage or something. There were 5 6 times when perhaps she waited for 10 minutes for me to feed my crying baby.
I suggest you should talk to her.

I am also Bhavna's client. I think she is very good at her job and very professional as well. It is easy to communicate with her as she uses whatsapp. I have never faced a problem of her hurrying up the massage.
She is not doing a nanny or a housekeeper job that she needs to give notice before quitting a job. The day I feel good and not in a need of massage anymore I may also tell her that I don't need her to come from the next day. Similarly if logistically some place is not working out for her and she has to quit, I think that's ok. It doesn't make her unprofessional if she doesn't want to travel 1hr for a half an hour job.
She is a good person and an even better masseuse, esp for postpartum, and I totally vouch for her.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Regardless of the job the person is doing, I think it's courtesy to let them know you are not coming anymore and would not like to continue. I am fine if she does not want to continue since there are not enough people in the neighborhood but at least she should have the courtesy to let me know that she is not looking to continue.
