Hi all,

Wondering if you all pay nannies for their commute during time off. Meaning, if you are out of town for a few days or weeks, in addition to paying their salary for that time do you include the amount you'd typically pay for their commute (even though they aren't technically commuting)? Trying to understand expectations. Thank you.

No -- not at all. If they are not commuting what are you paying them for.

Yes for long term help, you have to pay salary for the two weeks that you may take off unless negotiated.

Thank you, that's what I thought. But nanny insisted nobody cuts commute!

No Commute during time off

Thank you.
