Who doesn't like the idea of having a dessert without hours of toil going into it? This recipe is perfect for days specially weekends when one is not ready to spend more time in the kitchen and idea is to calm your sweet tooth craving.
I have tried many instant cake recipes but this one came out the best. Its moist and has the perfect proportion of all the ingredients. You can also add fruit preserves of your choice to add more flavor or scoop caramel ice-cream on the top and dig in.
Preparation time: 2 minutes Cooking time: 2 minutes, 30 second.
Ingredients:
Self Raising Flour: 4 tablespoons
Cocoa Powder: 3 tablespoons (unsweetened)
Canola Oil: 3 tablespoons
Nutella: 2 tablespoons
Egg: 1 (lightly beaten)
Granulated Sugar: 4 tablespoons
Milk: 2 tablespoons
Preparations:
- Take a large mug and add self raising and cocoa powder.
- Add Oil and granulated sugar to the mug and mix it with a fork
- Add Nutella and egg and mix it well with a fork till the egg is incorporated to the mix evenly.
- Microwave it for 2 minutes to 2 minutes 30 seconds till you see the cake has risen to almost double.
- Serve it with a raspberry on top or better still with caramel ice-cream.
- Enjoy the 5 minute cake that doesn't compromise on taste.
